大昔に作った風雨来記の攻略サイトを久々にチェックして、FOGのサイトも久々に覗いたわけです。そしたら再販とかそんなんではなく、「久遠の絆 -THE ORIGIN-」が発売だと？

ひっかかるのはXuse発売で18禁とのこと。Xuseと言えば、うんたらタクシーをやったことがあるけど、今となっては遠い昔の話だ。

サイトの方をチェックしてみる。エロなのは当然として、かなりシナリオに変更が入っているようだ。むしろ再臨詔とか、なかったことになっているぐらいの雰囲気です。

シナリオが同じなら買ってプレイする意味はないと思ったけど、これなら素直に楽しめるかもしれない。と言ったけど、DC版再臨詔をプレイしたのが2000年頃。ほとんどシナリオなんぞは覚えていない。エロ追加のみのリメイクだったとしても、新鮮な気持ちで楽しめてしまいそうです。

ストーリーを紹介したいところだけど、ほとんど記憶にないのでそれも叶わず。簡単に言ってしまうと孔雀王みたいな感じ。陰陽師がアビラウンケンソバカとか言って、妖怪を倒す。で、複数の時代をまたいだ恋愛ものです。えらくあっさりだな、おい。

当時としてはシナリオ量が一際目立った作品でした。ほぼ分岐なしのテキストを読むだけなのに、完全終了までに40時間以上はかかった筈です(30時間だったかも)。

せっかくなので、当時書いた感想を引っ張り出してみました。以下。

シナリオに関しては及第点以上。最高とは言わない。幾つもの時代をまたがるのだから、それを利用した複線がもっとあっても良いのではないだろうか。

ＰＳ版で酷評されていた誤字、脱字の問題だけど、気になるほどはなかった。両方やった人が言うには、かなり修正が入ってるそうだ。

しかし仮に誤字があったとしても、このゲームの売りである「シナリオの長さ」という長所は決してかすまない。とことん読ませてやる、と言わんばかりのシナリオ量は過去最大(だと思う)。

おまけシナリオ(再臨詔)も、おまけとは言えないぐらいに長い。しかしオチがあまりにもしょうもないので、あれだったらないほうが良いかもしれない。

うろ覚えでおまけのオチを書くと、真の敵はこの先にいる、俺たちの本当の戦いはこれからだ！　な終わり方でした。えー、全然終わってないじゃんという。

久遠の絆あってのFOGであり、そのリメイクを10年ぶりに出すわけです。しょうもないものには仕上がってはいないと信じたいところです。
